Series Stand-On

The SO26 features a powerful 810 cc air-cooled Briggs & Stratton® Vanguard v-twin OHV vertical-shaft gas engine. This B&S model is fit with a heavy-duty components for enhanced power and reliability. Plus, a remote-mounted, centrifugal multi-stage air cleaner for advanced debris management and extended maintenance intervals.

The Grasshopper Stand-On series is equipped with a T-Drive™ hydrostatic transmission that is fit with tandem 12 cc Parker pumps-in-reservoir, internal filtration, and an inline CoolFan™ for cooling efficiency. The drive system also features Parker high-torque wheel motors that are design-matched to the engine HP for increased efficiency and simplified maintenance.

Our Stand-On series is equipped with either a 52” or 61” DuraMax deck that’s made from a double-layer of formed steel and features a reinforced anvil edge for increased durability. Both deck options are extra-deep with specially designed cutting chambers that enhance airflow for better cut quality and Sentry™ spindles that feature massive, 8-inch flanges anchored in a 6-bolt pattern to spread the force of impact for greater strength.

The SO26 features hydraulically dampened control levers that return to neutral when released from the forward or reverse position. The control levers are extremely intuitive and feature a responsive, near-effortless maneuverability. They also come with an adjustable grip bar that allows you to customize the controls to better fit your reach.

The Grasshopper Stand-On series features fewer than 10 grease points and easy top-side access to belts and filters. These mowers also feature 1,000-hour transmission fluid change intervals and self-tensioning belts to minimize cost and labor on routine maintenance.

LED work lights provide long-lasting, power-efficient light for improved visibility across late night and early morning mowing.

The Control Tower features a 4.5” height adjustment that allows you to raise or lower your mower controls to your liking. It is also equipped with an extra-wide, extra-thick pad for comfortable all day performance and comes loaded with an adjustable cup holder and USB ports.

The operator station is built with a wide anti-slip platform that features a cushiony coil-spring suspension and shock dampeners that limit vibrations for a ride so smooth it’ll feel as if you are floating. And, the platform’s overall design lets you stand within the drive tires, keeping you close to the zero-turn pivot point and eliminating any possibility of the “slingshot” effect that is common with other stand-on mowers.

The SO26 is made with a compact wheelbase that provides an incredible power-to-size ration. This design allows the mower to easily fit on trailers and better maneuver through tight spaces.

The Grasshopper Stand-On series is designed with a low center of gravity for optimal traction and stability. The centralized location of the engine, T-Drive™ pump and dual fuel tanks lowers the overall center of gravity, and a total fuel capacity of 9.25 gal/35.0 L reduces the need for frequent refueling.

The SO26 is equipped with a hand-operated lever allowing you to easily raise or lower your cutting height. Additionally, the mower’s engine and transmission are mounted on the deck, ensuring you will not damage drive belts or other engine components when adjusting your deck height.
