Series 700

The 700 Series features a wide-stance, single-fork tail wheel for enhanced weight distribution and improved stability. The single-fork tail wheel also allows these mowers to have a better mastering effect while maneuvering.

The liquid-cooled 700 Series models are equipped with a High Temperature Clutch Cut-Out that prevents long-lasting damage by automatically disengaging the PTO if the engine temperature reaches a certain point.

The 725KT features a Tandem 12cc Parker pumps-in-reservoir transmission with an in-line CoolFan™ cooling system and integrated, replaceable, high-efficiency fine-particle filter. All the other models in the 700 Series are fit with a Tandem 16cc Parker pumps-in-reservoir transmission with design-matched Parker high-torque wheel motors.

The AntiVibe Power platforms isolates the engine and the T-Drive™ from the operator platform for an unprecedented vibration-free experience.

The 700 Series has fewer than 10 grease points and allows for easy top-side access to belts and filters. Additionally, it is equipped with self-tensioning belts, helping to cut down on maintenance time be 95%, making your day-to-day mowing operations easier.

All 700 series FrontMount riding lawn mowers are constructed from robotically-welded, formed steel and built to last decades. Engineered with a centered-bearing design that provides greater load-bearing capacity, these mowers can handle the weight of the operator, fuel, and high-capacity collector with ease. The 700 series is complete with a tough-as-nails powder-coated finish that is fusion-bonded—ensuring these models will resist rust, chips, and whatever else nature throw its way.

Our low profile Rollover Protection System (ROPS) comes with an adjustable seatbelt, dampened steering levers that return to neutral from both forward and reverse, and interlock switches that shut down the engine immediately if the operator leaves the seat while the PTO is engaged or the steering levers are in drive position.

The 725KT is designed with a 747 cc, 2-cylinder, air-cooled Kohler Command PRO V-Twin engine. The 727T EFI also features a 747 cc Kohler, but this model is a Delphi® EFI engine with a horizontal crankshaft and a pressure lube run cooler for longer service life. The 729BT ups the horsepower with a 896 cc, air-cooled OHV Vanguard Big Block V-Twin engine with horizontal crankshaft for longer life. The last of the air-cooled gas models, the 735BT features an 993 cc OHV Vanguard Big Block V-Twin engine with a horizontal crankshaft for longer service life. The 729T features the liquid-cooled 962 cc 3-cylinder Kubota MaxTorque™ gas engine with a horizontal crankshaft and pressure lube that delivers maximum power for commercial applications. Finally, the 725DT is equipped an EPA Tier 4 Final-compliant liquid-cooled 898cc Kubota MaxTorque Clean Diesel engine with a horizontal crankshaft and pressure lube for smooth, reliable operation.

Standard across every Grasshopper FrontMount, the PowerFold allows you to raise your deck nearly 90 degree to provide easy access to the underside of the deck for simplified maintenance, space-saving portability, storage, and more.

Grasshopper extra-deep 5.5” decks are made from heavy-gauge formed steel and reinforced with an anvil leading-edge. Complete with specially designed cutting chambers to enhance airflow, our decks also contain Sentry™ spindles with 8-inch flanges anchored in a 6-bolt pattern. The formed steel spindle planes are fabricated from double-layered steel laminate and combine with the spindles to form a triple-strength deck that is nearly 1-inch thick in stress zones. Grasshopper decks are built to keep the blades level and deliver a high-quality finish every #MowDay.

Our Ultimate Operator Station is equipped with a deep-cushioned, deluxe premium high-back comfort seat that features a coil-spring suspension, padded lumbar support and armrests.The operator station is iso-mounted, eliminating vibration before it reaches the operator and both the padded seat and foldable armrests are covered in scuff-resistant, CoolTemp Cordura® fabric. Additionally, the operational controls, including the throttle, ignition, choke, and more are all well positioned for visibility and ease of reach. The operator station is equipped with QuikAjust™ Tilt levers that allow for one- or two-handed operation. The levers automatically return to natural from either forward or reverse positions.

The 729T and 725DT models feature two easy-to-access USB charging ports integrated into the operators station. This convenient feature will let you keep your device charged up and close by during long days of work.

The 729T and 725DT are equipped with both an electronic fuel gauge and digital hour meter. Built into the operator’s station, these features will help you track the time and your fuel levels with a quick glance.

Standard across all 700 mowers, these steering levers offer an easy nine-inch range of adjustment, allowing operators of all shapes and sizes to maintain a natural wrist position during long hours of mowing.
